I’ve always been a person who loved the horizon. As a teenager, I usually found myself sitting on the roof of my home where I could be with myself and capture the entire moment of the beauty and calmness the horizon brought to me.
I would like to ask you to take the time and imagine a horizon.
Think about how beautiful it is, when we can see it. Sit in the moment and just envision it.
See how it is what separates the land and sea from the sky.
In our day to day life, we can not easily see the horizon.
Trees and mountains, even huge buildings block our view from time to time.
In order for our eyes to capture the beauty of the horizon, we need to travel to a certain place in order to see it.
This is because a horizon can’t be seen by sitting in the comfort of our home.
At the same time;__
The horizon also represents an illusion, because no matter how beautiful and calming it is, if we would want to travel towards it and just be forever in its energy, we won’t be able to.
Journey to Horizon represents exactly this in a spiritual sense.
In the name Journey to Horizon, the “horizon” is the part that separates our earthly self from our core essence; our higher self. And just like a “real” horizon cannot always be seen. I believe that we do not always see our true selves to the core.
The same way the trees, mountains and huge buildings block the horizon, I believe that our conditioning, experiences and the emphasis we put on the expectations of others, block our ability to see the beauty of our “Inner Horizon”.
This is the reason why I chose to name my company Journey to Horizon. I believe that we each have to make the conscious decision to place ourselves in a “position” to be able to see the beauty that we hold within ourselves; our inner horizon.
Getting there is a journey and sometimes we can use the support from others.
That’s what we at Journey to Horizon strive for. Now here is the TWIST!
Reaching the horizon and forever being in its presence is an illusion. We know that life is a journey of ups and downs; therefore we should become aware that it’s not about reaching a destination, but rather consciously choosing to travel to that place within ourselves and embrace the beauty in ourselves. It’s about journeying towards being a better version of ourselves, creating within ourselves the a home, a place where the feeling of liberation lives .
